Caitlyn's MAC Line Needs These Beauty Staples

It's been less than a year ever since she first publicly presented herself as a woman, but Caitlyn Jenner has already done so much, from sharing her personal journey on I Am Cait, to advocating for and raising awareness about issues that affect transgender people. Today, the iconic Olympian and activist announced the release of the MAC Caitlyn Jenner makeup line, which was shaped by her dream of partnering with a makeup company while also using this new venture as a platform to improve the lives of others in the trans community.

"MAC was the first to come to me, and a company, I realized, would really make a big commitment," Jenner said. "I knew the VIVA GLAM campaigns; I saw that the proceeds were going, in those cases, mainly to AIDS and HIV causes, and I was wondering if they were interested in doing something specifically geared toward trans issues because we need funding. MAC is a global company. It’s in places around the world where not just trans issues, but women’s issues, are a major subject that you have to talk about."

The first product in Jenner x MAC line is a rosy nude lipstick called Finally Free, which will be available on maccosmetics.com starting April 7. One hundred percent of sales from Finally Free lipstick will go towards the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative, which provides funding to organizations and programs that help the trans community.

"To be honest, I want people to use it every day so they have to buy more," Jenner said. "I want to raise a lot of money. It’s very simple." According to the press release announcing Jenner and MAC's long-rumored collaboration, the Finally Free lipstick is just the beginning and there are more makeup products on the way. Based on her gorgeous style, here's what else we can expect from Jenner's cosmetics line:

From her own eye and blush palettes, to a range of foundations and blushes, Jenner's collection are sure to be bestsellers.

2. Nail Polish

Jenner never leaves home without magnificently polished nails, so this is right up her alley. Plus, she can compare notes with Kylie, who also just released her Sinful Colors collection.
