13 Retinol Products For Your Skin

by Lindsey Rose Black

Retinol, also known as vitamin A, can work wonders on your skin for everything from acne to wrinkle reduction (even though your wrinkles are gorgeous). If you've been wanting to see how it works, check out these retinol products for your skin to find the best fit for you! Whether you're trying to boost your glow or quell pimples, there's a product out there worth testing out.

If you're a retinol newbie and have zero clue what the ingredient does, worry not. I reached out to Dr. David E. Bank at the Center For Dermatology in Westchester, NY for the lowdown. He tells me, "Retinol, or vitamin A is one of the most well known treatments against the aging process and acne ... It also has the ability to pump up circulation, making your skin look healthier."

So how does it work? Dr. Bank explained, "Retinoids are great exfoliators, they help remove any dead skin cells that could potentially clog pores that cause acne flare ups ... They [also] speed up cell turnover, while boosting collagen and elastin [and stimulate] cellular repair." Basically, you can tackle pimples and get glowy skin with retinol products.
