Kristen Bell's Daughter Isn't A 'Frozen' Fan

by Allyson Koerner

One would think if your mom is the star of a massive Disney hit, you would love the movie. But that's definitely not the case here. Kristen Bell's daughter isn't a Frozen fan. What? You're telling me she doesn't want to build a snowman?

While chatting with E! News, Bell admitted that her daughters, Lincoln and Delta, with husband Dax Shepard, "never" watch her as Anna in Frozen, and that her eldest could really care less. After being asked how often her three and 1-year-old watch the animated success, Bell replied, "Never. They're only three and one, so they don't really watch TV. The 3-year-old just started watching a little bit of TV."

However, when Lincoln got sick last month, Bell said, "I put it on for her, thinking it was going to blow her mind and like 15 minutes in [she] was like, 'Turn this off, I don't like this movie.' She could care less."

Lincoln is aware that Bell voices Anna, but that obviously hasn't swayed her criticism. I think it's safe to say that Bell and Shepard have taught their daughter a valuable life lesson: always speak your mind and never be afraid to give your opinion. You go, Lincoln.

As much as I disagree with her, because I could watch Frozen on repeat, I understand why the movie might not click with Lincoln at this point in time. She is still very young, plus, as Bell explained, some of the film's elements are a bit too frightening for her. "It was too scary for her, I think." She added, "But it was too dark, the scene where Anna gets struck and then they go to the trolls and it takes place at night. She's really sensitive." Also, Bell admitted Lincoln definitely "keeps [her mom's] ego in check."

That said, let's really think about this. I think there is more than meets the eye here when it comes to Lincoln's dislike of Frozen. Would you rather live with the real-life Anna or watch her on Frozen? I vote for the former. Clearly, Lincoln realizes she doesn't even need to watch the movie, because her mom is Anna and what is better than that? There's no doubt Bell is beyond fantastic and Lincoln totally gets it.

Can you imagine living with Bell? I mean, here are just a few of things you'd get to witness.

Her Love Of Sloths

Remember that time the actor shared the video of her reacting to the news that a sloth would be attending her birthday party on The Ellen DeGeneres Show? As hilarious as it was, it was also endearing. She isn't afraid to express her emotions and admit she has quite the obsession with sloths. I mean, can you imagine chilling with both Bell and a sloth? I'm pretty sure I'd break down in tears, too.

Her Admiration For Her Husband

It's hard to beat the love, respect, and admiration Bell and Shepard have for one another. They truly are one of the best celebrity couples of all time. The fact that Lincoln and Delta get to see that every day is beautiful.

Her Determination & Hard Work

Bell is a super kind and generous person who strives to make a better world not just for herself and others, but for her daughters. From her work on the #NoKidsPolicy campaign getting media outlets to not use unsolicited paparazzi photos of celebrity children to her work in preventing teen suicide to her charitable ways, Bell is just an all-around hardworking and good person.

Her Amazing Talent

The fact that Lincoln and Delta probably get to experience Bell's singing talent every day of their lives makes me super jealous. They are very lucky girls.

So, what would you pick? Frozen Anna or real-life Anna? Yeah, Lincoln, is one smart girl.
