See The Illustrated 'Chamber Of Secrets' Cover

Feast your eyes, Potterheads! Scholastic unveiled the cover for the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Illustrated Edition on Wednesday. The hardcover flies into a store near you on October 4. In the meantime, you can drool over it all you want here.

Like Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Illustrated Edition , the Chamber of Secrets Illustrated Edition features artwork by Carnegie Medal winner Jim Kay. Kay won the award in 2012 for his work on A Monster Calls, which is the only book to win both the Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Medals. So, yeah, dude's got chops.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Illustrated Edition is bound to be a smash hit. From the press release:

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone Illustrated Edition was published globally in October 2015 and sent the Harry Potter series back to number one on The New York Times bestseller list. The book also appeared on both the USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestseller lists. There are currently more than 650,000 copies in print of the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone Illustrated Edition in the U.S.

Here's Kay's fantastic cover, featuring the Weasleys' Ford Anglia, aka Every Potterhead's Dream Car.
