Don't Expect To See Saint On 'KUWTK'

by Caitlin Gallagher

Although Kim went into labor during the Season 11 finale of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, it wasn't until months later that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West first revealed a photo of their son to the public. While you might think that means we'll see baby Saint on Keeping Up with the Kardashians when Season 12 premieres on Sunday, May 1, I'm here to say: Think again. Unfortunately for fans of the Kardashians, you might not see Saint on the show for quite some time, so you'll have to get your fill of Kim and Kanye's son through those adorable and rare Saint West baby pics that his mom posts.

Just like his big sister North, Saint has been intentionally kept out of the limelight by his super famous parents. Only a few days after Saint was born in December, TMZ reported that sources told them that there were no cameras in the delivery room when Kim was in labor with Saint. (An uncharacteristic decision for Kim, but a highly understandable one.) Those same sources, TMZ wrote, said that Saint would not be on Keeping Up with the Kardashians for the "foreseeable future" until he "develops an awareness."

It's important to remember that it's completely their decision as parents to decide how they want their child to be viewed — if at all — in the media. A North sighting on KUWTK to this day is uncommon, and so the same should be expected for Saint when he gets a little older and his parents decide he can be on the show.

You shouldn't expect to see Saint at all in Season 12 of his family's E! show, but there are still plenty of Saint moments to look forward to when that day comes. Based on how his parents have handled his sister's fame, here are some things that Saint could do when he finally does appear on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Star In His Dad's Music Video

North's first introduction on Keeping Up with the Kardashians was a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of the music video for Kanye's song, "Only One." I expect Saint will be featured in one of his dad's music videos eventually, even if it's not a video directed by Spike Jonze or a song that features Paul McCartney. However, if he's not, I'm certain that he'll still make a big entrance when he is first revealed on the show.

Hang Out With His Cousins

It makes sense that since the Kardashian sisters are so close, that their kids would be friends too. North and cousin Penelope (Kourtney's only daughter) have gone to Disneyland, taken ballet classes, and dressed up like mermaids together. Just imagine the cute outings Saint will go on with Mason and Reign.

Get Baptized

North was baptized in Jerusalem when Kim, Kanye, and Khloé were traveling back to the United States from a trip to Armenia. A pregnant Kim holding North during the baptism in the oldest Armenian church in Jerusalem was featured during the Season 10 episode "It Feels Good To Be Home." While Saint was technically present for his sister's baptism, his parents will most likely still want to give him his own. I'm not really sure how you can top a baptism in Jerusalem, but I'm sure Kimye will think of something.

Celebrate His First Birthday

Remember Kidchella — North's Coachella-themed first birthday? Well, if Kim and Kanye come up with another idea like that for Saint, then documentation for the public is required, whether it be on KUWTK or just on Kim's social media.

Go On Vacation

Nori went on the Kardashian-Jenner family trip to St. Bart's for Season 11, where she got to meet a mermaid and look cooler than I ever do in a pair of sunglasses. Once Saint gets a bit older, he'll get to go on the always-documented family vacay too and get his own adventures.

While I completely respect Kim and Kanye's decision to keep Saint off of TV for now, that doesn't mean I'm not disappointed. Guess I'll just look forward to the return of Rob when Keeping Up with the Kardashians comes back on May 1.
