Killing it! That's exactly what beauty vlogger Jaclyn Hill is doing right now. She broke the Internet earlier this month with the news about and sneak peeks of her upcoming BECCA Champagne Glow face palette. She followed that up with a tease related to her own Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics line. Hill debuted one of the lipsticks for her own range, as opposed to a collabo. She premiered a peachy pink shade that looks like it will light up your whole face when you slick it on your pout. Hill is all about dat glow, from her Champagne Pop highlighter to the upcoming Champagne Glow range. So I am not shocked that the products baring her name, including lipstick, will have a similar illuminating quality. According to Trendmood's Instagram post, the lipstick will be one of the first products released. When can you purchase Jaclyn Hill's very own branded lipstick?
Lipstick lovers, you are going to have to wait quite a bit. Hill herself confirmed that her cosmetics range isn't coming until early next year, so the lipstick won't land until 2017. Judging from the images, this lippie will be worth the wait.
Observe the shade below, as demonstrated by Hill herself. She didn't merely swatch it. She applied it right to her pucker and pouted accordingly.
What a pretty peachy x pink shade! No one rocks that candlelit glow like J. Hill, right? Her cheekbones are always, always on fleek. Wait, do people still say that? JK!
Fan reaction was exactly what I expected, with Hillaholics pretty much accepting that they will be parting ways with tons of cash when this lipstick and other products become available. Ah, the power of social media and creating advance hype.
So, get ready to exercise some patience, since 2017 won't be here for several months. While I don't recommend wishing your life away in anticipation of a new product launch, I completely and totally co-sign planning ahead, budgeting, saving, thinking about what looks you want to create based on this lipstick visual, and getting excited about the launch of Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics.
In the meantime, how about you get ready to shop Champagne Glow, which lands online May 26 and in Sephora stores on June 16? She's gorgeous, ain't she?
This palette is pretty much on the way and will give you something to play with while waiting for the maj launch of Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics.
