Khloe Kardashian Dressed Up Like J. Lo At Scott Disick's Birthday Party, But It Wasn't The First Time — PHOTOS
Well, here's one way to celebrate your independence in style: Khloé Kardashian dressed up as Jennifer Lopez at Scott Disick's birthday party this week. But this wasn't just one of Lopez's many looks over the years that Kardashian channeled. From the studded bandanna to the white tank top and matching jeans, her outfit was classic J. Lo at the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards.
"Side bar.... Scott's birthday party is not a themed party lol," Kardashian posted on Instagram. "Just felt like it with my @kourtneykardash." Of course, she added a bit of Khlo-money to her outfit by throwing on a big fur coat on top. I think Lopez herself would approve of this luxurious update to her iconic ensemble. A few days before Disick's birthday, Khloé and Kourtney met J. Lo backstage after the two attended her "All I Have" show in Las Vegas.
Only Kardashian knows for sure whether or not dressing up as Lopez at Disick's birthday dinner was a way to temporarily distract her after she filed for divorce from Lamar Odom a second time. What matters is that the she paid tribute to one of the singer's most iconic looks and nailed it. Plus, she looked like she was having a great time doing it.
And here's J. Lo's 2000 VMAs look that inspired Khloé's dinner outfit:
However, this isn't the first time that Kardashian has looked like the Latin pop diva. Here are seven other times when she channeled J. Lo:
Legs For Days
This gown is reminiscent of J. Lo's green Versace dress, from the low cut neckline to the sleeves.
This color combination is definitely in Lopez's fashion wheelhouse.
While both stars love a gown on the red carpet, they also mix things up with a pair of jeans from time to time.
The pose, the confidence, the dress... totally J. Lo-inspired.
Every time Kardashian or her style inspo turn up in something glamorous, it's sure to be a showstopper.
Like Khlo-money, Lopez loves statement boots and wears them on and off stage.
J. Lo wore cornrows on American Idol this year, but she first wore this style in her "Love Don't Cost A Thing" music video. Khloé's also a fan, obviously.
