by Jamie Primeau

Soon after their divorce was announced, Amber Heard was granted a temporary restraining order against Johnny Depp, alleging domestic abuse as the reason. According to People, after Heard filed for the restraining order, Depp's lawyer, Laura Wasser, claimed, "Amber is attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse." Now it's being reported that on the morning of Friday, June 17, Heard is scheduled to testify against Depp in court, in the hopes of receiving a full domestic violence restraining order, according to Page Six. Sources claimed to the site that the 30-year-old's friend, iO Tillett Wright, and neighbor, Raquel Rose Pennington, will testify as well.

Bustle reached out to reps for Depp and Heard at the time that Heard requested the temporary restraining order and alleged abuse, but did not receive a response. Bustle has also reached out regarding Friday's reported court date, but has not yet received a response.

Also reported on Wednesday, according to People, Heard withdrew her request for temporary spousal support. In a court document obtained by People, the actor claimed her request for spousal support has been "used against me to distract and divert the public away from the very serious real issue of domestic violence."

As for Friday's court hearing, according to E! News, Heard reportedly issued a "notice in lieu of subpoena" to demand the Pirates of the Caribbean actor appear. However, it's currently unknown whether he will actually attend. As for who is reportedly attending, Wright is an activist and Heard's friend, who recently defended the actor and her claims publicly on Twitter. Meanwhile, Pennington is Heard's neighbor. Page Six claims to have obtained a copy of legal documents, which cite the date and time of Friday's trial, as well as a declaration of Wright's account of allegedly witnessing abuse.

Before the allegations surfaced, Depp's lawyer released the following statement about their divorce and rumors surrounding it:

Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life. Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.
