This Is How Rachel Roy Gets Good Hair
If you've ever wondered how celebrities get that glossy hair glow, worry no more. It may take a few stylists and a few products, but sometimes copying a celeb glam routine can be worth it. In an interview with Into the Gloss, fashion designer Rachel Roy shares her favorite tips and tricks for her makeup, skin, health, and hair routines. Of course, I want to know how the (rumored) Becky gets that great hair of hers.
Apparently Roy has only colored her hair once and regretted it, as she tells ITG in her interview. But one of the main things she says she loves is getting a gloss (by Tracey Cunningham) on her hair to brighten it. She also says she gets oil treatments applied to her scalp that are massaged on for 30 minutes. "It’s amazing because my scalp gets dry," Roy said. "That’s why I only wash my hair about once a week. I’m a dry shampoo girl because of that. I can get a blowout to last me a whole week."
Thanks for the inspiration, Rachel. Now we don't have to feel bad about washing our hair once a week — if she can do it and still have Becky's good hair, I think we're all good!
Here's proof that less washing, more dry shampoo, and oil treatments work wonders:
So smooth.
And shiny!
