Stream These 21 Movies In August

by Jenn Ficarra

As much as it pains me to say it, there's no denying that we are definitely in an age of "instant gratification," especially when it comes to watching movies. It used to be that we had to wait at least six months or more for our favorite movie to come out on VHS or DVD. Now, it seems that as soon as a film has left theaters, it's available for audiences to watch or stream online. Not that I'm complaining, of course. I, like most people, love the fact that a movie I might have missed will show up somewhere online within months. I especially love the endless rotation of new movies and old classics that routinely pop up every month on HBOGo. There are plenty of great movies streaming on HBOGo in August, and I'm here to fill you in on the details.

First, I should say that if you haven't seen Mad Max: Fury Road yet, you must. It's on HBOGo until August 1 and then it drifts off into the abyss. After that, though, a ton of new movies will be joining the HBOGo streaming family. But which ones, exactly? Where can you find all the new films you'll be able to watch with a bottle of wine and a steaming hot pizza with extra cheese? Luckily for you, I've provided a list of the 21 new movies you can stream in August on HBOGo.
