Another day, another headline about the Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and Taylor Swift drama. While that saga feels never-ending, at least Kardashian and someone else have made peace. I'm talking about the reality star's soon-to-be sister-in-law, Blac Chyna. After a seemingly rocky road, the tides have turned and the family is excited for Chyna and Rob Kardashian's future baby. Just how excited? Kim Kardashian shared her joy about Chyna's baby when talking to E! News — and even North West is sharing in the good news. The 35-year-old said,
"I was FaceTiming with Chyna the other day and explaining to North that there was a baby in her belly and then sharing the sonogram pictures with North and explaining to her that this is her little cousin and it's so exciting we have a new cousin coming."
How sweet is that? North is already BFFs with Penelope Disick, one of her other cousins. The pair wear matching outfits and even celebrated their birthdays together. So I imagine adding another kid to the bunch will just make their friendship group grow. Admittedly I was a little apprehensive about how Baby ChyRo would fit in, but it sounds like there's no need to worry. The cousins seem like a very welcoming crew and Kardashian's latest comments prove that.
As a sign of just how far they've come, apparently Chyna and Rob even ran baby names by Kim. The aunt-to-be told E!,
"They have talked to me about names but I would never tell because that's really personal to them. If they want to share that, they could. But we're just there to support them. We're so excited that we're getting a new cousin."
She may have no qualms about leaking Swift's personal phone call with Kanye West, but when it comes to revealing personal deets about her brother and his fiancé, Kardashian's lips are sealed. At least she's not stirring up any trouble in that department. It's also pretty nice that they want her opinion on baby names in the first place. That means they trust her judgment. I wonder if they'll come up with as memorable a moniker as North West or Saint.
Now if only Kimye and Swift could bury the hatchet like Kardashian and Chyna. I guess only time will tell, but this makes me slightly more optimistic.
