You may have been keeping up with the female Kardashians, but now it's time to get to know one of the men of the family a little bit better. After years of popping in-and-out of his family's limelight — both personally and in terms of his appearances on KUWTK — Rob Kardashian is finally getting his own reality show. His new series, Rob & Chyna, follows his life with fiancée Blac Chyna, as they work on building their relationship and having a baby. The first look at E! 's Rob & Chyna docu-series reinforces the idea that even his sisters are surprised by his newfound limelight — and yet Rob is taking to it so well that there can be no doubt that he is 100 percent Kardashian.
"That Rob wants to be so public blows my mind," Khloe Kardashian shares in the trailer. Even Rob himself goes on to say, "I'm trying to get back out to life. It's a big change." For those who have been following Rob's life through his family's hit show, you know that he has faced his fair share of personal hardships before reaching this point. Between his personal struggles with his weight and a number of broken relationships, he finally seems to be happy and pulling the rest of his life together. Why shouldn't he show that off honestly? This trailer makes his show seem like it will be every bit as fire as all of the other KUWTK spin-offs.
Rob's spin-off is just the latest spin-off series from the Kardashians to have taken center stage in the past, including Khloé & Lamar, Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, and Kourtney & Kim Take New York. And, as always, there is sure to be family member overlap between this show and KUWTK as well. Kardashians already set to appear on Rob & Chyna's first season include Kourtney, Khloe, Kim, Kris, and even Kourtney's former significant other, Scott Disick. But, aside from a whole lot more Kardashian, Blac Chyna is also on the reality TV scene and killing it.
Between her pregnancy cravings, her own entrepreneurial endeavorers into the fashion industry and drama-filled feuds, Chyna is the real star of this trailer and, oh, does she earn that star. Chyna is seen asking Rob, "Are you still texting b*tches? Yes or no?" From that second on, you know that we're in for one eventful first season. The fact that Chyna is able to steal the show in the trailer so thoroughly is just further proof that she is the perfect new addition to the family, and that we may all have a new favorite Kardashian to adore when September rolls around.
This is the inside look into their crazy, rumor-filled relationship that you've been waiting for. Rob & Chyna premieres on E! at Sunday, September 11 at 9pm ET/PT.
