'The Avengers' & 'Full House' Have Similarities

by Michelle Lulic

As it turns out, the Avengers aren't much different from the Tanners from Full House. They're both loving and complex families who have their own unique talents and personalities — yet they still have each others backs when times get tough. Oh, and both these unconventional families possess one character played by member of the Olsen family. Their similarities get a whole lot clearer when you check out this fan-made Full House - Avengers title sequence mash-up title sequence from the YouTube channel, Zack Ace. The '90s afternoons you spent watching Full House, and your current love for the MCU, have officially become one. Not that you were asking them to, but, hey, don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

The latest internet trend combines today's pop culture with the television show theme songs of the '80s and '90s, and it was only a matter of time before the Marvel Cinematic Universe was combined with something epic. Considering the fact that the latest Avengers team includes Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's younger sister, Elizabeth Olsen, Full House seems like the most obvious choice. With the addition of the theme song, "Everywhere You Look," and Full House's original title fonts, this Avengers opening sequence may give you even more '90s nostalgia than the opening sequence for the Netflix spin-off series, Fuller House .

Despite the fact that the Avengers aren't all riding in a convertible across the Golden Gate Bridge, they're still timed to the music in a way that makes you think it's as close to a shot-by-shot recreation of the Full House title sequence as we're going to get. Even Tom Holland's Spider-Man is in the mix, making it one overall adorable team.

If one really were to compare each character's order of appearance with the original Full House opening sequence, they would find the character representations to be as such: Iron Man as Uncle Jesse — which (considering their egos) makes so much sense — Captain America as Danny, Thor as Uncle Joey, Black Widow as D.J., The Hulk as Stephanie, and, as expected, The Scarlett Witch as Michelle. (Hawkeye is Rebecca and Spider-Man is Kimmy Gibbler, by the way. I know you were wondering.)

Now all we need is for the Avengers and Full House to come together in one of the MCU's next movies, or for the Avengers to hop on an episode of Fuller House. I mean, let's face it: Uncle Jesse's hair already makes him a superhero.
