She's Not Over Her Divorce Yet

by Mallory Schlossberg

Don't expect her to heal overnight. Khloe Kardashian opened up about her divorce from Lamar Odom in a chat with the Australian radio show, "Breakfast With The Stars." Her conversation with hosts Mel B (yes, of the Spice Girls), Jules Lund, Sophie Monk, and Merrick Watts revealed that she's not over it yet, because divorce isn't one of those things you just "get over."

The 29-year-old star said, "It's definitely not anything I'm through. I'm going through it, but I'm not through it." Surely, these are words that many women who have been through a break up could relate to — getting over somebody ain't easy.

Not to mention, it's gotta be extra tough to get over someone when you watched the whole relationship fall to shit on television. "It's really hard to watch yourself on TV," she said in the radio conversation," It's definitely different in that the world has to watch, too [...] It's definitely not the easiest thing to do, but it's what my life is." We feel ya, girl. Hell, if I had to watch an edited version of all of my transgressions complete with an ominous soundtrack, I'd have to get a bucket for my tears.

Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom back in December, and it appeared that he had some serious drug issues at the time — like allegedly spending up to $800 a day on drugs. Since this entire debacle and struggle has been so public, it must be somewhat of a relief for Kardashian to tell the public that, yes, she's going through some seriously tough stuff.

Bu we know that Kardashians are resilient women — these women don't get knocked down, even when the media publicly shames them on a regular basis. Though it may hurt, this lady will likely get through it.
