Chris Is So Over the Lea, Naya Drama

by Kaitlin Reilly

The Internet may love soaking up news of the alleged feud on Glee, but there's one person who is totally over hearing about it. Chris Colfer spoke to People about the Glee drama, and much like Kurt Hummel himself, he's so not getting involved. The star said that he's making an effort to stay out of the controversy — which he thinks has been blown way, waaaaay out of proportion. He told People:

It's really sad. I've seen some of my closest friends on Glee go through where these horrible things are written about them and none of it is true, but some reporter wants to get a hit, they say so-and-so is a raging bitch... It's really unfortunate. There's almost no point in ever clearing anything because people are just going to write what they want.

It's not totally clear as to whether Colfer is admitting that there was drama on the set of Glee or not, but this neutral attitude is so very Kurt Hummel of Colfer. Coincidentally, the drama on the set of Glee is allegedly between Lea Michele and Naya Rivera, two actresses whose characters had a major blowup of their own just this season. Colfer's character Kurt was stuck in the middle of his two feuding roommates and struggled to stay neutral amidst the chaos — and it looks like the actor who plays him is doing the same.

When it comes to the Glee drama, it's very hard to separate fact from fiction. While Colfer certainly knows more about the alleged fight than he is willing to talk to about, he's definitely doing the smart, mature thing by staying out of it. Sometimes I think that Kurt is the only person in the Glee universe with a level head, and I'm starting to think the same thing about Colfer offscreen.

The Season 5 finale of Glee airs Tuesday at 8PM on Fox.
