Emma Has a New Look (and Duh, It's Cute!)

by Mary Avant

When I stop to think about all the many reasons why I adore Emma Stone, the list is almost too hard to keep up with. She's hilarious, she's one of the many celebrities who are obsessed with the Spice Girls, and she has some of the best red-carpet style in all of Hollywood. (I mean, hello, did you see the impressive string of Stone's outfits on the Spider-Man 2 tour?) Oh, and she's also undeniably multitalented, as proven with the announcement that she'll make her Broadway debut when Stone takes over for Michelle Williams in Cabaret . Now, it's because Emma Stone has a bob haircut that's absolute perfection.

So count this as just one more reason to fall head over heels in love with the red-headed star: Stone's new 'do, which she donned at the 2014 Venice Film Festival, is just as perfect and adorable as she is (or even better, as adorable as Stone and Andrew Garfield are every time they step out together).

Showing up to the festival's glamorous opening ceremony and red carpet premiere of her latest movie, Birdman, Stone looked flawless with her blunt, wavy new 'do and beautifully side-swept bangs. But the fabulousness didn't stop at her fresh cut (or even at her sweet berry lip). Instead, it only got more impressive, thanks to the delicate and darkly romantic Valentino Couture gown she was sporting.

Featuring a deeply plunging, sexy (but sophisticated) neckline and luscious layers of rich, hunter green tulle (a red-head's dream!), the gown was pure poise and elegance when paired with her classy, classic new bob and a pronounced lack of jewelry and accessories.

Though I was really loving the shaggy-chic long layers Stone sported at the Magic In the Moonlight New York premiere, this short style looks like it was practically made for the young star's round face shape. But let's be honest: She could make anything work, right?
