On Thursday night, Barcelona time, one of the future's most talented celebrity spawn (besides Blue Ivy) has finally made his way into the world! According to Billboard, Shakira has welcomed a baby boy with partner Gerard Piqué. After Shakira's parents spilled the beans on the gender of the baby, it is now being reported by numerous sources that the couples' healthy, bouncing baby boy was born around 11 p.m. via a scheduled Caesarean section at a Barcelona hospital known as the upscale Quiron Teknon. And his name, though not yet confirmed, is speculated by Billboard to be Andrea or Sacha. However, according to The Daily Mailthe couple is expected to release an official statement on Friday confirming the baby's name once and for all.

(Update: The news of Shakira's son's birth has been confirmed on her official website with the following statement: "We are happy to announce the birth of Sasha Piqué Mebarak, son of Shakira Mebarak and Gerard Piqué, born January 29 at 9:54pm, in Barcelona.")

This is the second little boy for Piqué and Shakira, who have already proven their skills at cute baby making with their adorable son, Milan. Now with this news, Shakira can actually start to live out her dream that she has had since she first became a mommy. The singer told Latina magazine in April 2014,

If it weren't because of my music projects, I would be pregnant already. I would love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard — my own fútbol team.

Well, they seem like they've got a good plan going. We've got two down already and according to my highly scientific calculations (a baby every other winter), the couple should have their full squad born by 2026 and playing in the World Cup by 2046, as well as performing the closing and opening ceremonies for the World Cup, Olympics, NBA Finals, etc. for years to come. So, congrats to Shakira, Piqué, and big brother Milan, and we only wish you continue spreading your genetic gifts upon us all. I think these kids are gonna make it!
