'Mockingjay Part 1' Is Super Depressing, So Cheer Yourself Up With These 9 Happy Things

So you've finally seen the third installment to The Hunger Games series. Chances are you found it pretty depressing, between the whole hijacked Peeta thing and the fact that Panem is in a full-out war. But there are ways to cheer yourself up after seeing Mockingjay Part 1, I promise. Because as great as Josh Hutcherson is at playing a mentally disturbed version of Peeta, and as convincing as Jennifer Lawrence's sad Katniss is — you don't need all those emotions constantly wreaking havoc on your mental state. You have to wait a year to get the resolution with Part 2, but you definitely shouldn't spend the next 12 months in a post-Mockingjay funk.

Fortunately the good old Internet is at your fingertips with its world of fun just waiting to cheer you up. It's home of hundreds of videos of babies laughing and puppies being adorable. One quick search and you can LOL your days away even after watching the depressing Mockingjay events unfold. You may think there's no recovering from watching Peeta cry, but I promise there are ways to make things better.

By the time you're done with this article, you'll be good as new! (And all ready for round two of seeing the movie because who sees a Hunger Games film just once?)

Almost all the actors participated in the ALS challenge. (Except Jennifer Lawrence. Sigh.) There's nothing funnier than watching someone else get drenched in freezing water. Liam Hemsworth even did his challenge in a Ninja Turtles onesie, so you have that to look forward to.

You'll get to see normal Peeta again. And hey, even the horrible things that go down in The Hunger Games and Catching Fire pale in comparison to Mockingjay. So there's always that.

Feeling better? I hope so. But if not, I'll leave you with cute dogs and adorable babies compilation video. You're welcome
