Eva Chen Welcomes Daughter to Instagram

Late last week, Lucky editor in chief Eva Chen announced the birth of her baby girl via social media and now the newborn has already made her first Instagram appearance! Chen posted a snap introducing daughter Ren to her 300,000 plus followers and, naturally, the picture was utter perfection.

Where do I even begin? How about with mama Chen's dove-grey oversized sweater which matched Ren's super cozy looking swaddling cloth and played nicely off of the giant silver balloons, worth of Warhol's Factory, that spelled out the baby's name above the snuggling mother-daughter duo. That's pretty much all that's happening in the image, but the monochromatic color scheme is so spot-on. Light grey is the perfect baby color! I mean, it's both chic and gender neutral.

Let's just hope Eva doesn't go the Kimye route and actually ban her daughter from wearing bright colors. Fashion should be about breaking the rules, not making them, especially at the ripe old age of four days. Something tells me that the mastermind behind the signature #EvaChenPose won't be limiting her daughter's creative impulses all that much. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for little Ren and her sure-to-be-fabulous wardrobe!
