What The 'SBTB' Reunion Should Have Looked Like

by Alyse Whitney

It was a '90s kid's dream come true when the Saved by the Bell cast reunited on The Tonight Show , but everyone we know and love from Bayside High wasn't there. You're probably wondering why Screech and Lisa weren't at the reunion, and although we kind of have an answer — neither were doing well in their personal lives last time they were in the spotlight — it still doesn't make it hurt any less. To make ourselves feel better (and hopefully you, too), we Photoshopped Dustin Diamond (Screech) and Lark Voorhies (Lisa) into the sketch to imagine what it could have been like.

If they were there, the best moments from the SBTB reunion could have had Zack pulling Screech out of a locker before the geeky high schooler tried and fail to flirt with Lisa, or Screech getting Zack out of some major trouble. As for real-life shout-outs, the Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story probably would have been mentioned in some way. Overall, it would have been great to see the whole gang back together, but seeing the two best couples from the show in their '90s gear, acting like no time had passed was great enough for me. But when I think back to this epic reunion, I may imagine that Screech and Lisa were really there, and you totally can, too. No one will judge you... except maybe Mr. Belding.
