These #KanyeDancing Videos Are Pure Genius

by Kenya Foy

The exhaustion of Daylight Saving Time may have slowed down the masses, but one person whose energy levels obviously haven't been impacted by the clocks springing forward is Kanye West. Generally, Yeezy tends to get people talking about his impassioned rants on his musical genius, his outspoken assessment of Grammy Award winners, or his staunch refusal to smile in photos. However, the latest buzz surrounding the rapper comes courtesy of the numerous video mashups of #KanyeDancing that are currently spreading throughout the Internet at rapid pace. The clips are taken from footage of Yeezy dancing during a show in Paris and the results are hilarious.

Seriously guys, there are SO many #KanyeDancing videos popping up every second, it's hard to keep up with all of them. Honestly, we've seen West engage in some far stranger behavior on stage than dancing, like wearing some really creepy masks and demanding wheelchair-bound fans to stand up during his show. Still, there's something about the way Yeezy danced in this latest performance that's undeniably captivating. Was he that overcome with excitement at the music? Maybe he was really feeling his new Yeezy Season 1 Adidas fashions and wanted to demonstrate their non-restrictive qualities. Who knows, but you absolutely must see this dancing to understand.

Here are 6 of the best #KanyeDancing mashups, ranked from most impressive to least:

7. Missy's "I Can't Stand the Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)"

This is actually a fitting song choice because those boots don't appear to be waterproof.

6. Usher's "U Don't Have to Call"

More of this, please.

5. Cassie's "Me & U"

This one deserves ALL the laughs.

4. Ginuwine's "Pony"

Even Ginuwine would be impressed with Yeezy's fancy footwork.

3. Bobby Brown's "Every Little Step I Take"

This song was perfectly in tune with every little step Yeezy took.

2. 'N Sync's "It's Gonna Be Me"

You can never go wrong with some throwback 'N Sync, but I have a feeling this will only feed into the ongoing 'N Sync vs. Backstreet Boys debate.

1. Seinfeld Theme Song

CANNOT. STOP. LAUGHING. This is pure genius. Finally, here's the actual performance footage and audio from West's show, but it's nowhere near as entertaining as the mashups.
