Natalie Dormer Isn't A Lipstick Kind Of Girl
English actress Natalie Dormer knows all about looking fierce. She's appeared in The Tudors, Game of Thrones , Rush, The Hunger Games, Mockingjay, and the upcoming horror film Patient Zero. So when she talks about beauty secrets, you can bet we're listening. Natalie Dormer dished on her beauty routine in a recent NY Times interview, and it’s as intense and perfect as her acting.
Since she so often acts in projects that require heavy makeup, makeovers, or even corsets, we bet she’s an excellent source in all things beauty. I mean, imagine the time she spends in the makeup chair! She’s picked up a few tid bits here and there along the way, working with makeup artists that represent large luxurious brands like Lancome.
Dormer focuses heavily on skin care, as one should. She echoes Sophia Bush’s sentiments about body and face oil, and shares a few of her favorite skin care products. Dormer admits she’s “not a lip girl” in the interview, but that can be forgiven since she did share all this knowledge with the world. As it turns out, the oldie but goodie phrase applies to beauty advice.
“I’m pretty balanced in what I eat,” she told the Times. "I also drink a ton of water. The old rules are the best rules. Every woman knows that. And I love to sleep. I can catch an extra 20 minutes anywhere.”
