The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge haven't even given birth yet, but don't act like you're not wondering about when we'll get to see photos of Kate Middleton and Prince William's second baby. Reportedly, Kate is due sometime in April, not to mention she is already on maternity leave. You know what that means? Soon enough another adorable royal baby will be here and so will the highly anticipated royal family photo shoot. So, when will Kate and William release photos of their baby?
Well, there isn't official date of when the photo shoot will take place or when their son or daughter will be shown to the public for the first time, but that doesn't mean we can't guess. As we all know, Kate and William will debuted Prince George outside of the hospital after he was born. If you recall, Kate wore that blue dress with white polka dots as she held Prince George. Of course, William stood beside her smiling gleefully for the five million cameras wanting a first peek at their son. The same will almost certainly happen for their second child, which means we could see pictures of the new baby only a couple days after he or she is born. However, this doesn't count as the "official" family photo.
Remember that adorable photo Kate and William released with George and their dogs? That was the official royal family photo. How long after George was born was that photo released? Well, seeing as George was born on July 22 and the photo came out on Aug. 19, we will probably have to wait around one month to get a more official glimpse of their second child.
I know. I know. Such torture, right? With that said, I have no doubt it will be worth the wait. Their first family photo (taken by Kate's father) was beyond cute, so imagine their second family portrait including Prince George and his baby sister or brother. Yep, this portrait is going to be one for the books.
