by Nick Romano

The first ever footage of the highly anticipated Man of Steel sequel/superhero team-up movie/geek extravaganza, the Batman v Superman trailer, is about to drop at any moment. So, when will it happen? And more importantly, how can you be one of the first to see it?

Collider recently unearthed a few interesting tidbits about the forthcoming footage. The most important part is that you'll get to see something Thursday, April 16! That's right, a teaser for the Batman v Superman trailer will reportedly be online for your enjoyment tomorrow at 9 PM PST. The preview is said to be only contain five seconds of footage, but we'll take anything we can get from the movie that features Henry Cavill's Superman, Ben Affleck's Batman, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman and Jason Mamoa's Aquaman. So keep tabs with Zack Snyder's Twitter account tomorrow afternoon, East Coasters.

Even more exciting is that the full Batman v Superman trailer will be revealed in a special IMAX event. Collider reports, through information received from the Celebration Cinema's website, that the event will take place on Monday, April 20, last roughly 15 minutes and take place in approximately 100 IMAX locations across the country. Following the teaser premiere tomorrow, Snyder will reveal instructions over Twitter on how to attend one of these events. But don't worry if you can't make them, because it's more than likely that Warner Bros. will premiere the trailer in its entirety online shortly after.

This is a massive deal, folks! I don't want to get you overly hyped... but that's totally what you should do! Batman v Superman will see DC's Caped Crusader and the Kryptonian superhero face off, as Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor plots his schemes. Ass the film's subtitle (Dawn of Justice) suggests, it's also going to set up this new DC universe. Aside from small appearances from Wonder Woman and Aquaman, Batman v Superman is rumored to introduce Ezra Miller's The Flash and Ray Fisher's Cyborg.

The film is set to drop on May 25, 2016, and this upcoming trailer is gonna make that wait soooo much harder. So be prepared.
