Marc Jacobs continues to slay with his choice of models for his latest campaign. Debi Mazar's Marc Jacobs campaign ad has been revealed and it's crazy hot. The actress totally brings it in her ad. It also comes hot on the heels of Cher's Marc Jacobs' debut and the ad featuring singer Anthony Kiedis (and his son).
At first, Mazar, who is another glorious reminder that 50 is the new 40, especially in high-end fashion for 2015, might seem like a not-so-obvious choice, but she's actually quite the perfect pick to front a MJ campaign for Fall 2015.
Not only did she recently reprise her role as no-nonsense publicist Shauna in the film version of Entourage, but Mazar, who has worked steadily in Hollywood for decades, playing variations of her signature "New Yawk" or New Jersey badass, is also BFFs with Madonna. Mazar was also a fixture on the club scene back in the '80s. So she has enjoyed quite a colorful history.
Mazar is smokin' hot in her ad, wearing a clingy, eggplant-colored, plaid print outfit with to-the-elbow sleeves and leather gloves. But check out her amazing cleavage. Mazar makes like quite the sexy lady boss in her ad. I admit that it's my favorite of the F/15 Marc Jacobs campaign ads so far.
I love how her hair is all slicked back and voluminous, a coif that the actress often rocks, and how she is touching her temple with the leather glove-cloaked hand.
Overall, Mazar is a great Marc Jacobs' choice for three other key reasons.
1. She's Fierce With Her Pompadours
Mazar has a distinct sense of style and she often rocks the fiercest pompadour since Danny Zuko.
I love how imperfect it is and the 'do always works for her.
2. Those Baby Blues
Mazar has the most amazing eyes!
Her porcelain skin is fabulous, too. She might not get all the attention of the over-50 set, but she deserves it. Perhaps her MJ ad will propel her a little further into the spotlight.
3. Confidence, Baby!
Mazara always struts her stuff with supreme confidence. Her roles are memorable to me, usually due to her accents and her likability factor.
The actress has a great sense of style, too. Whether it's a print or a gown, Mazar usually slays.
Look at this amazing polka dot frock. It fits her flawlessly and the bodice is so flattering to her figure.
This pose, though! What a babe.
