What Are Brandi's Post-'Housewives' Plans?

by Marenah Dobin

It's hard to remember Real Housewives of Beverly Hills before Brandi Glanville joined the cast, but now that her departure from the Bravo show has been confirmed, we will no longer get to see her as a Housewife. It's a pretty sad day for the loyal viewers. Love her or hate her, she pretty much always made the show more interesting. I can't help but wonder what she's going to do after this news settles and she's done giving interviews talking about her time on the show and trashing her former costars. What is Brandi Glanville going to do after Real Housewives ? Does she have any plans?Right now, Brandi's future is a little bit unclear. She's not a cast member on the show, but there is a rumored possibility of her returning in another capacity. And this wouldn't be the first time for Bravo to pull that card. Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Camille Grammer, Adrienne Maloof, and Taylor Armstromg have all returned to the show for special events. Porsha Williams was downgraded from from her role as a series regular on The Real Housewives of Atlanta to a "friend of the Housewives." She appeared in pretty much every episode, got to share her point of view in confessional interviews, travel for the group vacations, and appear on the reunion. In my eyes, she got most of the same benefits as the actual Housewives, but with less commitment and drama. LuAnn de Lesseps took on a similar role as a "friend of the Housewives" on The Real Housewives of New York City one season due to personal reasons only to reclaim her spot as a full fledged Housewife on the next season of the show.

But what about life outside of Real Housewives? What else does Brandi have going on? First and foremost, she's a mother of two sons and has been, seemingly, getting along with her ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and his new wife LeAnn Rimes.

If you're going to miss Brandi on Real Housewives, then you should check out her podcast entitled Brandi Unfiltered which is broadcast through Podcast One, in addition to being available on iTunes. Now that she's off the show, I feel like Brandi is going to be even more outrageous than before and ready to dish on her former friends.

Brandi also writes a weekly column for an Australian magazine called NW where she goes on rants about celebrities and pop culture.

She has launched her own line of wine called Unfiltered Blonde. This makes perfect sense, since Brandi has plenty of memorable wine-fueled scenes on RHOBH. Just ask her former costar Eileen Davidson.

Brandi hasn't officially confirmed the plans for her post-Housewives life, but it seems to me like she's going to do whatever she can to share her opinion, keep it real, and (probably) stir up some trouble. She isn't one to keep quiet so I'm sure she will share the details of her plans in due time and with plenty of details.
