This Is Why Dorinda Cursed Heather Out On 'RHONY'

by Laura Rosenfeld

Now what have we learned from the last couple of episodes of The Real Housewives of New York City , children? Don't mess with Dorinda Medley, that's for sure. Heather Thomson learned that the hard way during last Tuesday night's episode. I had a serious case of deja vu during this week's installment as Dorinda and Heather went at it again, but this time the F-bombs were a-dropping as the two debated whether or not a lady uses curse words.

I have to give it up to the ladies of RHONY. Unlike most of their arguments, this one was actually not about something inane but an age-old debate that really does make you think.

Of course, Ramona Singer started this argument when she said that she picks up other people's bad habits and that she has started cursing more because of Heather. As you know from watching RHONY, in addition to shouting "Holla!" every five seconds, Heather has never met an expletive she didn't like.

Heather didn't love that Ramona said that about her, but she used the moment to defend her potty mouth as Ramona conveniently snuck out to use the restroom. Heather was obviously the main proponent of cursing because saying those words doesn't really have any negative impact.

However, Miss Manners Countess Luann de Lesseps and Dorinda Medley were quick to fire back at Heather, saying that money can't buy you class, and dropping F-bombs doesn't help either. They even asked Heather if she would want her daughter to grow up repeating those bad words because ladies just don't speak like that, right? This of course turned into an argument about good and bad parenting, which is always a slippery slope. Haven't these ladies learned by now that they should always keep each other's family members out of their drama? It never ends well.

This was a super bizarre argument for many reasons, mostly because Luann and Dorinda were being complete hypocrites. All of the members of the RHONY cast have their classy and sloppy moments, which usually don't have anything to do with curse words coming out of their mouths. Plus, cursing people out has kind of been Dorinda's thing this season. If Luann and Dorinda stepped down from their high horses for just a sec, maybe they would have realized that.

Even this conflict got extremely heated, not because of the expletives the ladies were throwing around as they argued, but because Luann and Dorinda had a little — OK, a lot — to drink. By the end of the dinner, they were way more belligerent than anyone else at the table and weren't making a whole lot of sense.

Taking all of that into consideration, the dinner ended exactly how you would expect, with Dorinda beginning to sob and then drunkenly storming out of the restaurant with Heather following close behind to try and smooth things out. We'll have to wait and see next week if she is successful.
