Could Louis' News Mean Zayn Will Return To 1D?

Tuesday afternoon, People reported Louis Tomlinson and friend Briana Jungwirth are allegedly expecting a baby together. Oh, but that wasn't the only thing that happened Tuesday afternoon: In the wake of the report about the One Direction singer, Twitter quickly devolved into a whirling cyclone of Between Us eau de parfum-scented tears. While some of my fellow Directioners are feeling some serious feelings about this news, others see this news as an opportunity. And not just any opportunity, but an opportunity for ex-1Der Zayn Malik to return to the band. There are some fans who want Malik to take over for Tomlinson while Tomlinson's possibly on dad duty.

OK, before we go any further, there are a few things to keep in mind: Tomlinson hasn't said anything about going on paternity leave; Tomlinson has yet to comment on the People report, meaning it could be false (Bustle has reached out to Tomlinson’s reps for comment, but has not yet heard back); Malik's not-so-chill tweet to Naughty Boy does not a 1D reunion make. So, Directioners miiiiiight be getting ahead of themselves with this one. But hey, I'm not one to talk. I'm always getting ahead of myself. For starters, I'm the gal who tried to predict what Tomlinson and Jungwirth's possible baby would look like. I'm basically the Queen of Gettingaheadofmyselfland. Absolutely no judgement here.
