Prince George Thinks He's How Old?!

Someone just told an adorable fib! Prince George, who is two, may have just celebrated his birthday on July 22, but he apparently is ready to grow up even faster before our eyes. According to a July 26 report from People, Prince William and Kate Middleton's eldest child has been matter-of-fact in telling folks that he has bypassed the terrible twos: apparently, George is telling people that he is a 3-year-old. With George's recent birthday so prominently noted throughout international media, it's unlikely anyone actually believes him, but that doesn't mean he's not trying. Don't grow up too fast, George!

Although there can be tons of reasons for adorable youngsters to unwittingly lie about their age, I can't help but wonder if George's new role as an older sibling has anything to do with it. In May, Middleton and Prince William introduced the world to their darling new bundle, Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Being a royal is hard work alone, and taking on the role of the arguably most famous older brother in the world can be a major feat. George has taken very well to being a big bro, IMHO, and I've noticed quite a few signs that he's taking the title of older sibling quite seriously.

2. George Overcoming A Tantrum For Charlotte's Christening

Let's face it: being a prince can be stressful. Although George had a wee bit of a tantrum before Charlotte's christening, the little royal was able to get through the sniffles and stuck around.

3. George Is Already A Style Icon

There's no doubt that George is one of the most fashionable toddlers around. I'd be willing to wager a guess he wouldn't mind showing Charlotte the ropes on making a statement.

4. George Tends To Steal The Show

As was the case at Charlotte's christening, George proved that he knows how to shine in the spotlight. As great older siblings go, guidance and leadership are two key qualities. George isn't afraid to let anyone know who's the boss.

5. He Keeps Showing Off That Adorable Gumption

Sharing the spotlight with a little sister hasn't slowed down George's extroversion. He's one toddler that's not afraid to ham it up for the camera and I, for one, wouldn't have it any other way.

I'll definitely be looking forward to more adorable moments featuring these royal siblings.
