After a series of dramatic red carpet appearances like the Met Gala and attention-getting garb like crochet pants from Instagram, Bella Hadid's 2017 CFDA Awards look was a breath of fresh air for the model. Hadid showed up to one of fashion's biggest nights in a structured pink blazer dress with bell sleeves and a wide waist belt.
Considering Hadid has been all about neutral colors and body-hugging silhouettes lately, I love this bright, structured pick for this weekday event — although the CFDAs are a big deal, they're also a time for models, actresses and fashion insiders to have some fun with their looks.
Hadid accessorized with a pale pink foldover clutch, which was chic instead of matchy matchy — plus, I've got to love a good use of millennial pink. I loved how Hadid's 80s-esque structured dress paired with her sleek shoulder-length hair, bangs and brown-toned neutral makeup. Although the look ran the risk of veering too far into 80s territory, I think Hadid managed to keep the look modern and fresh. Her simple black strappy sandals completed the look in a totally chic way. The overall effect was totally chic, not to mention Hadid's legs looked miles long. Gorge, right?
The dress fits her like a glove.
And how amazing does her makeup look here?
The color of her dress and cut of her bangs really draw attention to Hadid's bright green eyes, and it looks like I'm not the only one who thinks so.
I kind of have to agree with this one — her look is a little spy-chic.
Fans were loving the bangs.
I have to agree here, Hadid looked fab.
