After months of anticipation and thinkpieces, JAY-Z and Beyoncé have reportedly welcomed their twins into the world. Although the couple has yet to confirm, reports claim that the singer may have given birth to a boy and a girl. The latest gossip circulating about the pair while we wait for an official statement is that Beyoncé and JAY-Z may have named their twins, Shawn and Bea. Shawn would, of course, be named after his father JAY-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter. But is Bea's name the nickname that JAY-Z calls Beyoncé?

Over the years, we've heard it again and again in his music: "Yeah, B!" or "What up, B?" The first time was nearly 15 years ago, when the two collaborated on their very first song together, "03 Bonnie and Clyde." JAY-Z kicks off the tune with with "You ready B? Let's go get 'em" and later, "'03 Bonnie and Clyde: Hov and B."

During that time, the two played it coy when it came to their relationship status, preferring to keep their love lives on the low. In later years leading up to their marriage, they would subtly mention one another here and there in songs and at awards ceremonies. JAY-Z would give his quick "B" shoutout so fast you could barely catch it unless you were paying attention. But what if we've been spelling it wrong all these years?

However, with the latest rumor that they may have given their brand new daughter the moniker, it's easier to believe that JAY-Z most likely calls his spouse "Bea" as an adoring short form of her full first name. Of course, the name hasn't been confirmed, but it would be kinda cute that they'd name the latest additions to the Carter dynasty after themselves.

Right now, it's pretty hard to sort through all of the gossip surrounding JAY-Z, Beyoncé, and their new "Beybies." I suppose we'll all have to sit back and wait until the Carter family is ready to make the huge announcement to get the real story.
