ColourPop's Pressed Powder Palettes Are Affordable

Odds are that you've probably heard about the ColourPop Pressed Powders by now. The new formula is a game-changer for the brand, but there's something else coming along with them. In addition to the single shadows, ColourPop is also creating Pressed Powder sets. How much are the Hi-Maintenance and Lo-Key Palettes, you ask? If you're already familiar with the brand, the price won't surprise you.

There have been tons of talk about ColourPop's Pressed Powders lately, and for a good reason. According to their website, this is their biggest launch ever. While they're typically known for their Super Shock Shadows that have a spongy texture, the new additions are flat pans with, you guessed it, a powder consistency. But they're not just coming out with 23 gorgeous singles, they have two fixed palettes to go along with it.

The two palettes — Hi-Maintenance and Lo-Key — will be available on Jan. 13 (the same day as the singles) and will cost $18 each. That's shouldn't come to a surprise, considering that their already existing Shadow Quads are also the same price. That break down to $4.50 per eyeshadow, which is a full $.50 cheaper than if you were to buy them separately. Basically, you get a great deal and a free palette all at the same time. You really can't beat that.

All in all, it's a pretty great deal, if you ask me. Each palette comes with a sleeve with the name on it as well as a fold-open palette holding the four colors. Lo-Key come with a variety of peachy-neutral shades that are perfect for everyday wear. The one metallic and three matte shades are named Criss Cross, I Owe You, Take It Slow, and Running Late.

The next is similar in shade, but a bit more bold. Hence the name, Hi-Maintenance. It's got two mattes, a shimmer, and a satin formula inside. You'll get more formula options for the same amazing price as the Lo-Key. The shades inside this palette are Just In Time, Get Out, Cute Alert, and High Strung.

The only downfall is that you won't be able to buy any of these shades as singles. If you want to score these amazing, limited-edition colors, you'll have to buy the entire palette. I'd set your alarms for Jan. 13 at 1 p.m. ET, because this is one heck of a launch.
