Kylie's Royal Peach Palette Is Super Affordable

Peach is a continuing color trend for makeup in 2017. Kylie Cosmetics' Royal Peach Kyshadow Palette drops on Thursday, Jan. 12 at 6 p.m. ET/3/p.m PT, picking up where 2016 left off with this hue. Remember, Too Faced's Sweet Peach Palette was so popular that it inspired an entire collection. Kylie Cosmetics rocked the Dirty Peach Lip Kit in 2016, but the brand is going all out with the Royal Peach Palette. This Kyshadow Palette is supersized and upgraded. Royal Peach boasts 12 eyeshadows, whereas previous Kyshadow Palettes (Bronze, Burgundy, and the limited edition Holiday palette) only had nine pans of shadow. Royal Peach also features a brush and a mirror, and the packaging is a long and rectangular, as opposed to square, to accommodate the additional colors and elements. Given all these add-ons, you have to be wondering this: How much is the Royal Peach Kyshadow Palette?

The palette costs $45, per the brand's official Instagram post.

Prior palettes have a $42 price tag, so it's only $3 more for all the additional "stuff." That's hardly a dramatic price increase for the upgraded and expanded product.

Royal Peach has lots of peachy pinks and nudes, as well as a green, blue, and more. You can creative an infinite amount of customized looks. Observe the shadows below.

You can see that Royal Peach comes with a fluffy blending brush. Remember, the 2016 Holiday Edition Collection included the brand's first-ever brush set, which featured five eye-focused tools, a few of which could have been repurposed for concealer by creative makeuppers.

Here is the caption accompanying the previous Insta image, confirming the release date, time, and price! The cost is certainly on par with other prestige and department store brands. For me, this feels like steal, since you get more shades, a brush, and a mirror.

Also, another spot of good news for Kyshadow lovers. The Royal Peach Palette is a permanent addition to the product lineup, as confirmed by the Kylie Cosmetics Twitter.

It's not going anywhere! So if you get shut out on launch date due to a swift sellout, relax because it will be back. It's not limited edition.

Enjoy your #ByeMoney moment on Jan. 12.
