Justin May Have Unliked One Of Selena's Instagram Posts & Fans Are Up In Arms

It's another day, which means more Jelena news. As of Sunday, Nov. 19, some fans were in an uproar after learning Justin Bieber reportedly unliked an Instagram Selena Gomez shared Sunday of her new blonde hair around the same time the "Wolves" singer debuted her fresh look on the American Music Awards red carpet. Apparently, Bieber was such a huge fan that Gomez's followers noticed he liked her IG. However, as suggested by Twitter user Selena Gomez Source on Sunday, "Justin Bieber unliked" it sometime soon after.

There could be a reasonable explanation for all of this, if Bieber really did like Gomez's photo in the first place.

So, let's say he liked it and then went back and unliked it. Despite all of the telling romantic images that have surfaced of Gomez and Bieber together, maybe he second guessed his action and didn't want to feed more of the stories surrounding them, so he unliked the image. Or, maybe he forgot he double tapped Gomez's IG and then went to like it and accidentally unliked it. Of course, there's always the chance that the Purpose artist very well liked it and unliked it for what remains an unknown reason.

Yeah, fans are just a bit peeved over what really isn't that serious of a situation. Who cares if he liked and unliked an Instagram post. None of this means he doesn't care about Gomez — or her blonde hair. Plus, it's nobody's business if he did do what he's being accused of. Let's all just take a deep breath and calm down.

It doesn't appear that either Gomez or Bieber have responded to the backlash over the reported liking and unliking incident. Seeing as neither of them have commented on their recent outings together or whether or not they're dating again, they most likely won't be responding to anything else — and why would they?

Ever since Gomez and Bieber (they dated on and off from 2011 to 2015) were first spotted hanging out again in October (they attended church together and grabbed some breakfast, according to TMZ), fans have been extremely vocal about their supposed rekindling. There seems to be mixed feelings over the two spending time together — and even kissing.

In November, a source spoke with Us Weekly about Gomez and Bieber's status. "Selena and Justin are back together,” the source claimed. "Selena and The Weeknd just fizzled and ended amicably — it wasn’t dramatic and it wasn’t about Justin. But Selena always had feelings for Justin." (Bustle previously reached out to reps for Gomez and Bieber for comment regarding the dating reports, but did not receive an immediate response.) They can't and probably won't ever escape the spotlight and rumors circulating about them.

When it comes to Jelena, fans have always been passionate, no matter how small the supposed issue is — like the possible unliking of an Instagram. Whatever Gomez and Bieber want to do is their business, so everyone needs to take a chill pill and allow these two to live their lives.
