Months after Kim Kardashian's robbery in France, updates with possible good news are finally starting to roll in. On Monday, French police arrested 17 suspects in connection with Kardashian's attack, and now, that arrest could lead to something even more promising for the reality star. According to what sources close to the police investigation tell Us Weekly, Kardashian could get her engagement ring back after it was stolen by the thieves who broke into her apartment last October. And being that it is worth $4 million and obviously important, this could definitely be a positive outcome for her. Update: On Wednesday, TMZ reported that "sources closes to the investigation" claim that authorities do not think Kardashian can get her ring back.

Earlier: As the site claims, two of the suspects who were arrested Monday allegedly "disposed" of the ring and might know how police could get it back. Reportedly, these men are frequently in Antwerp, a center for diamond trade, and it sounds likely that could be where the ring ended up.

The source told Us Weekly:

"They are involved in the diamond trade, and are thought to have handled the stolen jewelry. Their homes have been searched from top to bottom, and so has a jewelry shop in Paris which is also linked to them. The jewelry has not yet been found, but these brothers could lead us to it over the coming days."

Even if the men truly don't know where the ring is right now, it sounds like they could be good sources of information in order to lead police down the right path. And after everything Kardashian has been through with this horrifying situation — and undoubtedly the investigation that's still in progress — it's great to hear such a positive update.

Monday, police confirmed the supects who have been arrested are between the ages of 23 to 73 and across several different cities. They are legally able to be detained for up to 96 hours before charges must be made.

Here's hoping that at the end of all of this, Kardashian is able to get her ring back, safe and sound. After all the strides that have been made in this case this week, it seems like that outcome might actually be possible.
