Kim Opens Up About The Paris Robbery On 'KUWTK'

E!

As we all know, 2016 left one heck of a rocky road for the Kardashian clan. There was Kim's terrifying Paris robbery in October and rumors that the Wests were getting a divorce at the end of the year, so we've all be waiting with bated breath for updates on their well being. The former has been, without a doubt, heavy on my heart for sure, and I wondered just how much detail the socialite would give on the incident on the upcoming season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians — if any. But, in true Kardashian form, Kim will open up about the Paris robbery on the KUWTK episode scheduled for Mar. 19, and the Keeping Up with the Kardashians preview is absolutely heartbreaking.

In the one minute clip, Kim shared some of the night's details with her sisters Kourtney and Khloe and gave some interesting thoughts about how it all went down. For one, Kim believes that the robbers had to have been following her throughout the family's entire trip to Paris. Also in the preview, Kim notes that her social media usage the day of may have tipped the robbers off that she was alone in the hotel, adding:

“They had to have known we were leaving that day. They had this window of opportunity and just went for it. They were definitely watching.”

Hindsight is always 20/20.

It looks like this Sunday's episode is going to give us the full play-by-play from Kim's perspective, and I can't wait to tune in. So far, only 17 of the alleged suspects have been arrested, and none have been formerly charged. Maybe Kim recounting the event on the show could lead to someone else speaking up about what they know? One could only hope.

I'm obviously rooting for Kim to get justice in this whole scenario. And I can almost bet that other decent human beings would do the same — whether they're fans of hers or not. It's nice to see Kim stepping back into the spotlight after she and Kanye took a hiatus at the end of 2016. Things may not ever go back to normal for the family, but continuing to move forward can get them pretty darn close.
