Kim Kardashian's Latest Instagram Photos Are Totally Something Out Of The '70s
If you've been paying extra close attention to Kim Kardashian's social media presence, then you might have noticed just how much Kim Kardashian's Instagram photos look like they're from the '70s. Obviously, she took the pictures in the 2010s, but they totally look like they're straight out of the 1970s. Really, where is this house she and her family are in? Is it Kimye's? From the furniture to the walls to the carpeting to the lighting of the images, tell me you don't feel like you're being transported back to the time when bell bottoms and platforms first became a huge trend.
There's a good chance Kardashian is going for a theme with her first Instagrams since taking a break in October 2016 after she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, France. Maybe January will all about the '70s, February will showcase the '80s, and when March rolls around, Kardashian might begin channeling the '90s. She could very well be making a statement or trying to be creative with her new and improved Instagram. Whatever it is, her pictures aren't going unnoticed.
So, if you've wanted to time travel, then get scrolling and enjoy looking at what Kardashian, Kanye West, North West, and Saint West would look like if they were a family living in the '70s.
The Awful Couch
Seriously, what is with that couch? That doesn't look like something Kimye would pick out for their home.
The Wall Paneling
Nothing says the 1970s quite like some old-fashion wall paneling.
Kim's Cher Hair
Between the cabinets and the countertops, the kitchen definitely looks outdated.
The Shag Carpet
Admittedly, I grew up with shag carpet and I don't mind it one bit.
Don't get me wrong, he's beyond adorable, but either Kimye wants him to look like Santa Claus or like he's wearing something from back in the day.
I don't know what filter Kardashian is using to share her latest Instagrams, but the photos just look old. They definitely have a retro vibe.
Leave it to Kardashian to make a statement on Instagram by basically sharing photos straight out of the '70s.
