The Kardashians' TV empire may be ushering in yet another spin-off, because according to Gossip Cop, Kylie Jenner is reportedly getting her own reality show. The outlet reports that it's tentatively titled Life of Kylie and will focus on the youngest Kardashian-Jenner's blossoming beauty company; her on-again, off-again boyfriend Tyga; and some of her closest friends.
Fans, of course, are already familiar with Jenner from the long line of shows helmed by her family members: Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Rob & Chyna, I Am Cait. But it’s likelt that Jenner’s show will most closely resemble the world she so frequently displays on social media. Having appeared on reality television since childhood, Jenner isn't shy about sharing her life. She's accumulated massive followings on Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and the like, where she often documents her day-to-day adventures. Those that follow her should already know at least a few members of her crew, including her longtime pal Harry Hudson, assistant-slash-friend Victoria Villarroel Gamero, and BFFs Jordyn Woods and Anastasia “Stassi” Karanikolaou, who will almost assuredly pop up on Life of Kylie at some point.
In the past, Jenner has said that those short glimpses into her life don't always capture the whole picture. In fact, she told Adweek that there's actually quite a lot she holds back:
"You can't really tell who a person is from, like, an eight-second Snapchat video or an Instagram. I only post on Instagram or Snapchat what I want people to see, you know? But there's a whole other side to me that people don't know .... I feel like people think that just because I have a reality TV show and I'm on Snapchat for probably 10 minutes altogether throughout the day, that they know my life. But I feel like everybody — every celebrity, at least — keeps a big part of their life super private. Like, I don't show a lot of my relationships or my ups and downs."
And there certainly seems to be more to Jenner than the flashy lifestyle generally depicted online. From time to time, she'll post an epic Snapchat movie that shows off a silly side she rarely lets out in public. Perhaps, then, a reality show will give help give fans a better idea of who she really is. Until then, they'll just have to settle for social media.
