If you thought Beyoncé was taking a break after giving birth to twins Rumi and Sir, then you must not know 'bout her, you must not know 'bout her. While it's still unclear what exactly she's working on, it appears that some sort of collab with Orange is the New Black star Laverne Cox is in the works. And really, that's all you need to know to get excited, because Cox is just as big of a Beyoncé fan as you are. So that means any mysterious project that Beyoncé and Cox are working on together is bound to be incredible.

The news was announced on Monday's Access Hollywood when Cox was a guest, but so far, few details are known — other than the fact that more information will be revealed on Sept. 6. Members of the Beyhive will note that this is only two days after Bey's birthday, so it's already a significant date. In her own Instagram post about the announcement, Cox wrote, "Yes it's true. I am collaborating with Beyoncé on a new project."

She also used the hashtag #TransIsBeautiful in the post, so could that be a clue as to what this special and mysterious project is? It's definitely possible, considering Cox is a passionate activist for transgender visibility and rights, and Beyoncé has previously spoken out about the need to protect transgender youth. It would be powerful to see these two ladies come together in support of the LGBT community.

As mentioned above, Cox has been a longtime super-fan of Beyoncé, so it's great they're finally teaming up. In 2014, Queen Bey sent her a Christmas gift and Cox responded accordingly — by falling to the floor in her apartment. On Instagram, Cox wrote,

"Thanks for all the amazing music and endless inspiration you've given to me and so many over the past 16 years. Since No No No I have been saying YASSS YASSS YASSS!"

Stars, they're just like us. More recently, at this year's Grammys, Cox finally met her idol, and she again gushed about it on Instagram writing, "I was so beside myself with joy, wonderment and awe of the majestic that is the queen I forgot to hold in my stomach and give you face."

It's amazing to think that just three years ago, Cox was freaking out over Beyoncé sending her a gift in the mail, and now she's actually working with her. Even she sent Cox gifts, Bey was still influencing the actor's life. The OITNB star recently told ESSENCE, "I came into my womanhood listening to Destiny's Child."

Of course, it's not that surprising that Bey wants to collab with Cox, since the latter is an incredibly talented actor, activist, and general human. Still, it's so cool to see that someone can go from dancing to Beyoncé's music while getting ready just like you to actually working with Bey. Fans will just have to wait until September to find out more about the dream team's project — but it can't come soon enough.
