The 2017 Emmys Nominations Full List: The Surprises & Snubs That Have Fans Talking

After weeks of predictions and gushing over beloved episodes, the 2017 Primetime Emmys Nominations on Thursday, July 13, by announcers Anna Chlumsky (Veep) and Shemar Moore (Criminal Minds). The ceremony is set to air on Sept. 17 with Stephen Colbert as the host, but that seems like a distant thing compared to the immediacy of the nominations. Who will be going home with that prized golden statue, and who will never get the chance to compete for one this year at all?

The one thing that's always certain when it comes to nominations for the Emmys is that someone somewhere on the internet won't be entirely happy with the results. Whether it's thinking Game of Thrones still doesn't have enough awards yet, or wanting Outlander to receive the nod that it was denied in 2016, fans always find something to complain about when it comes to the noms. Of course, there's usually a lot to celebrate, too — especially when surprise shows make the cut against the odds or when there are surprising snubs that make way for those underdog shows to be rewarded.

The Emmys nominations might not seem personal, but, for some, they're the most personal thing in the world. So, let's see what we're working with.
