Another Monday, another new week ahead! Did you know that there's only one more Monday left in 2017??! We're *so* close to wrapping up this year. Now's the time to unearth your last New Year's resolutions, and plot the course for a better 2018.
Before we get ahead of ourselves though, let's take a moment to focus on today. A lot has happened, but here are some of the highlights on Dec. 18:
Ocean's 8 & Teaser Trailer
One of the most anticipated movies of 2018, Ocean's 8, just released its first teaser trailer. If you remember, this is a remake of the Ocean's 11 franchise that starred George Clooney, Brad Pitt, & Matt Damon. The big difference with this new movie, however, is the all-female cast, with Anne Hathaway, Sandra Bullock, Helena Bonham Carter, Cate Blanchett, Sarah Paulson, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, and Awkwafina playing the eight main characters. You won't be able to wait to see this, especially after you check out the teaser trailer.

Royal Family + Christmas Card
Kensington Palace has shared the official Christmas card from Prince William and Kate Middleton, featuring their two children George and Charlotte. Basically, it's the cutest thing ever and the whole family looks regal AF in pale blue.
Speaking of the color scheme, a lot of people think that their outfits might a clue as to the sex of the next royal baby, due in April. We'll let you be the judge of whether this is a major hint or not.
Fashion News: Designer brand Michael Kors plans to completely phase out fur products in 2018. The brand will opt for synthetic fur instead and will debut these new, animal fur-free looks on the Spring 2018 runway.
Donald Trump Jr. + Birthday Cake
Donald Trump Jr. turns 40 in a few weeks, and he decided to celebrate early with a cookie cake decorated with what was supposed to be an image of Former President Obama iced on it. Trump Jr. posed with his cake alongside Sen. Ted Cruz on Instagram and was swiftly confronted by an onslaught of tweets and comments, with many decrying this as disrespectful.
News Alert: Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's son, Track Palin, has been arrested for domestic violence. This is the second time he has been apprehended on similar charges.
Amtrak Train + Washington
An Amtrak train in Washington state derailed on an overpass this morning, and photos from the scene are absolutely horrifying. The incident occurred along a route between Seattle and Portland at around 8 a.m. As of now, Amtrak is uncertain of what caused the accident. 70 people have reportedly been taken to a hospital; the exact number of fatalities and injuries is still to be determined.
