Remember what I said about the elements? As a fire sign, Aries will get along best with other fire signs, like Leo. "They relate well because of their passion and common interests," Lang says.

For Taurus, the best match is Capricorn, another earth sign. "Both need stability in relationships, and they have what it takes to make a long-term relationship work," Lang says.

Gemini has a pick here between Libra and Aquarius for their best match, as both air signs will be able to keep Gemini's interest. "They like sharing ideas, and for a sign that can get bored easily, this is super important," Lang says.

Lang explains that since Cancers are an extremely sensitive lot, they need to be with someone who can be sensitive right back. That's why super sympathetic Pisces are a great match, since they'll totally understand.

Leo, one of the signs that loves to love, pairs up well with Aries, who are equally fiery and passionate, Lang says. They also have lots of common interests, and that can keep them together.

Capricorns can be reliable and stable, which is perfect for Virgos, who tend to question everything. But a Virgo and Capricorn pairing can work for other reasons, too. "This is a pair that values hard work. They often reach success together," Lang says.

Another lover of the LTR, Libras are most likely to have success with an Aquarius, who shares a lot of their same ideals. "They are always interested in expanding their minds by learning new things," Lang says. "Also, they enjoy socializing together."

Scorpios and other Scorpios do surprisingly well together, since they can equal each other's depth and passion. But they're also a deeply committed bunch. "Because Scorpio is a fixed sign, they stay committed to one another through anything," Lang says.

A Sagittarius and Aries pairing will make a great match. Both signs need a lot of freedom and adventure, Lang explains, so if they can find someone who feels the same way, things will be all the more likely to work out.

For Capricorns, love is most likely to be found with that third love of the long-term, Cancer. "Though they are opposite signs of the Zodiac, they both like to have a stable family life," says Lang. "They find ways to balance home and professional lives." And that can mean having a stable relationship, for years to come.

Gemini or a Sagittarius are both great picks, since both signs will be totally cool with the freedom-loving Aquarius. "Aquarius needs a partner who lets them be free to socialize, and one who isn’t jealous when they go out with friends. Both Gemini and Sagittarius have free-spirited tendencies," says Lang. So it really can work.

The Pisces/Cancer mix was mentioned above, but Taurus and Capricorn can also make excellent partners for pisces too. "These down-to-earth signs are a nice balance for dreamy, idealistic Pisces. They help Pisces keep their feet on the ground," says Lang.
