Kylie Jenner's Assistant Has An Awesome Job

On my list of dream jobs, working for a member of the Kardashian family is high up on my list. From what I've seen on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, it seems pretty obvious that they treat their personal assistants like family, and if you follow Kylie Jenner on Instagram, you know that's definitely the case for her. But since her mom, Kris, works so closely with her daughter, what does Jenner's assistant, Victoria, do? Let's just say she probably doesn't have much downtime, especially after her client's career exploded so much over the past year!

And in case you didn't know much about Jenner's assistant, allow me to fill you in. Her full name is Victoria Villarroel Gamero, and according to her Linkedin profile, her official title is "Personal Assistant to Kendall and Kylie Jenner at Jenner Communications." Gamero has been working with the family for a long time now, and she frequently appears on Jenner's Instagram — especially when Jenner helped surprise Gamero with a proposal from her boyfriend earlier this month — so it's pretty obvious that over the year, they've also become friends. And when it comes to Gamero's work with Jenner, it sounds like there's never a dull moment there.

In fact, not too long ago, Gamero actually shared the details of her job in a video on Jenner's app, which you might have caught already if you're a subscriber. In the video, she explained that her journey with the Kardashians began five years ago when she worked for Kris, and later, when Kylie was looking for an assistant, she ended up hiring Gamero. At first, she worked on keeping her house running, but now, it sounds like her job has moved beyond that.

Gamero said:

"Now I think I've moved on to her personal life. I don't deal with her house as much; now it's more like, 'what do you need your every day life to be smooth?' I think to be a personal assistant, you have to be 24/7, I don't know how you could just be nine to six. . . I'm always open. She'll call me at two a.m. and I'll answer. I don't really have set hours. Just whenever, you know — whenever duty calls."

Being on call all the time like that sounds rough, but it seems like Gamero loves her job, which definitely helps with those kinds of hours. Plus, if you're working with a friend, it must be less like work. Can't underestimate the value of loving your job and the people you work with, right?

I can't imagine how busy keeping Jenner's life (and her insane schedule) must make Gamero, but it sounds like she's handling it flawlessly. Let's hope we hear more from her in the future! I'm dying to know what the day-to-day aspects of her job are like!
