Arya Roshanian

Arya Roshanian (he/him/his) is a movies & culture writer for Bustle. Previously a reporter for Variety, his other reporting, essays, and criticism are published in BOMB, Guernica, Vox, Refinery29, The Rumpus, Catapult, and elsewhere. His fiction has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, and has received support from Tin House Writing Workshop and the Lit Fest Fellowship for Emerging Writers. A native of Los Angeles, he is currently an MFA candidate in Fiction at Columbia University. When not ruminating on existentialism and his place within the Meghalayan Age, Arya enjoys buying the flowers himself and avoiding life by dining well. He lives in Brooklyn.
