Taylor Swift Celebrates The End Of The '1989' Tour

As the saying goes, "All good things must come to an end." Unfortunately, this couldn't be a more fitting phrase for Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour. Swift's tour was easily one of the most memorable events of 2015. Not only because her songs are brilliant, but T. Swift always brought amazing surprise guests. So many celebrities — including Nick Jonas, Uzo Aduba, Wiz Khalifa, and Mariska Hargitay — made appearances. Even the U.S. Women's Soccer Team strutted the stage alongside the "Style" singer. After a successful run, the 1989 World Tour officially wraps up on Dec. 12 with a final stop in Melbourne, Australia. So what is Swift doing to celebrate? According to her Instagram, Taylor Swift is ending the tour in the best way possible. On Instagram, she wrote,

So stoked to be able to take my band and crew on a vacation at the end of a long and wonderful tour. For all their hard work this year, they really deserve it. Thank you to Hamilton Island for taking such great care of 125 of the people who work tirelessly to make sure the 1989 World Tour stage gets built, the lights are on, the costumes are made, the guitars are tuned, and the show goes on. Aussie press, I love your enthusiasm but my birthday isn't for 2 weeks and it'll be a quiet one this year. Let's take it down a notch:)

Somehow Swift manages to be sweet and sassy all in the same caption! While she's in Australia for the final shows, she's also taking time to vacation with the tour's crew — 125 hardworking individuals, to be exact. Along with Swift and her family, the 1989 gang is relaxing on Hamilton Island. Sounds pretty awesome! Why not repay the people who helped make all the magic happen? As usual, she's a queen of giving back.

Imagine if Swift brought all of the guest stars from her tour on the vacation too? It's a bit unrealistic, but that would seriously be a dream come true. Either way, it's nice that she takes the time to show she cares. Although it's not too surprising, considering she frequently commits acts of kindness. Just recently, Taylor Swift made dreams come true for a fan, who suffers from hearing loss. She surprised the 12-year-old with floor seats and a meet-and-greet backstage. Super sweet!

In case you're wondering how her vacation is going, Swift shared a photo with a bird from the island. Leave it to the "22" singer to make friends with animals wherever she goes! I wonder what her cats Meredith and Olivia would think of that. I suspect they'd be a bit jealous of her new feathered BFF.

Another important part of Swift's Instagram post? She reminds everybody that her 26th birthday is on the way, but not to expect anything too crazy. After an eventful year, she plans to have a quiet celebration. No matter how she commemorates the occasion, she's got plenty to be proud of. What better way to ring in another year than celebrating the end of a successful tour? Congrats, Tay!
