Even before the latest installment of Star Wars premiered in theaters, the excitement for The Force Awakens was definitely tangible. From cosmetics, to car commercials, to everything in between, Star Wars was everywhere and those of us who are fans were beyond delighted. I mean, Han Solo back on the big screen with Chewie!? Dreams were finally coming true after all these years!
But the Star Wars obsession didn’t start with makeup and end with cars; oh no. According to Pornhub, as is the case whenever anything this huge happens, Star Wars porn searches began increasing as the premiere of the movie got closer and closer. If people are going to be searching “anal Easter bunny” on Easter and zombie sex on and around Halloween, it only makes sense that with the release of The Force Awakens would come a whole slew of Star Wars related porn searches. And boy, oh boy, are those searches really, really interesting.
Although Star Wars is a fairly popular search on Pornhub as it is on a daily basis, it wasn’t until October when things started to really heat up when it comes to searches. From there, things just continued to surge.
1. October 19 Saw The First Jump In Searches
It was on October 19 that the official trailer for The Force Awakens was dropped. Not only did we all go nuts, watching the trailer over and over again (or maybe that was just me?), but that was also the day that porn searches for Star Wars first started to increase, going up 2.5x their usual amount for searches.
2. When The Force Awakens Finally Premiered Searches Went Nuts
According to Pornhub, the couple days leading up to the December 18 premiere, as well as that day, the searches increased by 1854 percent! Yes! That’s how excited everyone was to masturbate to Star Wars-themed porn!
3. The Top Search Was ‘Star Wars’
Of all the possible Star Wars related words that one could type into a porn site, “Star Wars” became the top term. Coming in second was “Star Wars XXX,” followed by “Princes Leia,” “Star Wars parody,” and “Allie Haze Star Wars” rounded out the top five searches. According to Pornhub, there’s actually a well-known Star Wars parody in which porn star Allie Haze plays Leia, so that explains those searches.
4. ‘Princess Leia Slave’ Also Gets Its Fair Share Of Hits
If you’ve ever seen Return of the Jedi, you already know that Princess Leia is, at least for a brief period, the slave of Jabba the Hutt, which makes sense why this would be a searched item. However, I’m really hoping that whatever parody that one stems from there’s no Jabba involved, sexually speaking.
5. ‘Anal Lightsaber’ Is A Thing
Although I know I wouldn't like a lightsaber in my ass, I’m sure for those who love a bit of fiery pain with their anal play, it sounds like a great idea. Proof of this is the fact that “anal lightsaber” is the eighth most common porn search, and according to Pornhub, there’s a lot of amateur porn videos on Pornhub that deliver that scenario for those who go looking for it.
6. People Want Their Blowjobs With A Side Of Vader
Of the top 15 searches, the only time the word “blowjob” appears is with Darth Vader, as in the search for “Darth Vader blowjob.” No joke. Apparently the idea of Vader getting head is something a decent amount of people are really into ― good for them!
7. Han Solo Doesn’t Get As Many Searches As He Should
True story: My first big crush was on Han Solo. And, at six, or however old I was when my parents let me finally watch Star Wars for the first time, it was definitely a big deal for me, especially since I’ve spent the majority of my adult life looking for my own Han Solo and have ended up empty handed.
That being said, I’m somewhat surprised that there aren’t more searches for Han Solo in the Pornhub’s top Star Wars searches. In fact, Han only comes up once and is all the way down in fourteenth spot. The only thing with less searches than “Han Solo sex” is “lightsaber sex toy.”
