I know we've all had some Kimmy Schmidt songs stuck in our head at one point or another, and both House of Cards and Jessica Jones stress me out after just a few notes. What's a person to do if they want to download or stream Netflix soundtracks? There are about as many options out there as there are original series to marathon on the streaming service.
The music on these shows is too good to pass up, so I'm not surprised that there are so many albums available. I had the Orange is the New Black theme set as my alarm clock for a while — that was an intense way to wake up. It varies per show. Some of the collections are collections of songs by other artists used in the series. Some are instrumental scores.
Not every Netflix show has an official soundtrack, at least not yet. Some original series, such as Master of None, BoJack Horseman, and Grace and Frankie don't have full soundtracks or scores available. There are plenty of covers of the Jessica Jones theme out there, but no official version. Sometimes you have to do a little searching to make a playlist, like with Making A Murderer. Still, there is quite the selection out there, and here's what I have found.
Orange Is The New Black
You can get the OITNB soundtrack, which includes and Regina Spektor's theme, on Amazon in various formats. You can also purchase a digital copy on iTunes and stream it on Spotify.
House of Cards
Each season of House of Cards also has a CD of the theme and instrumental score available on Amazon, iTunes, and Spotify.
Daredevil, on the other hand, has an official album that you can buy on Amazon and iTunes, but not stream.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
You can stream the theme song, a few sound clips, and "Peeno Noir" on Spotify.
The Marco Polo soundtrack can be bought on iTunes and Amazon, and streamed on Spotify.
This series also has a Hemlock Grove soundtrack for Seasons 1 and 2 available to buy on Amazon and iTunes and streaming on Spotify.
Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp
There's no official First Day of Class soundtrack but some tracks from the original movie
This show is brand new and doesn't have too many songs, but I think we can all agree that the above anthem needs to be streaming, right?
If you're into Carly Rae Jepsen's cover of "Everywhere You Look," you're in luck! It's on Amazon, Spotify, and iTunes.
It's already on iTunes for the downloading, but can preorder the soundtrack to this new Netflix comedy, which is expected to be released March 25, on Amazon as well.
