What Is A Ben & Jerry's BRRR-ito? The Burrito-Ice Cream Hybrid Is Back, But Only For A Limited Time

As if 4/20 wasn't already everyone's favorite holiday, we now have another reason to celebrate the day: Ben & Jerry's is bringing back the BRRR-ito — but it will be here for a limited time only, so hurry to your local B&J Scoop Shop for the frozen treat. For all you newbs out there wondering what a Ben & Jerry's BRRR-ito is, allow me to explain. It takes the magical powers of the burrito and ice cream and combines them into basically the most amazing dessert in the world, in a nutshell. Well, technically, it's more of a crepe shell. A chewy, delicious waffle cone/crepe shell stuffed with ice cream and topped with cookie crumbles and chocolate fudge. It brings a tear to my eye.

Plus, there's a special deal going on specifically during 4/20 this year: If you buy two BRRR-itos, Ben & Jerry's will give you the third for free — hence why the deal is called "bring your buds." (Get it?) So grab two friends and head on over, or just eat all three yourself. I won't judge you. The featured BRRR-ito will be made with Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Dough this time around, but you can also choose to mix any of their ice cream flavors instead, providing you with unlimited burrito-y options. Does anyone know if I could purchase a BRRR-ito with nothing but a block of raw cookie dough inside? Just curious...

Get it? Bring your buds? 4/20? Ha-ha. Ben & Jerry's — you jokester, you. But for real. Don't bring your buds to Ben & Jerry's. You know which buds I'm talking about.

The ice cream chain has been making headlines quite a bit lately, what with new flavors and free ice cream and all; I think they've truly outdone themselves with the BRRR-ito, though, and I'm glad to see it back for the second year running. For the time being, whenever I'm torn between a burrito and ice cream (so... all the time), I'll stop by my local shop to get a little bit of both; although the "bring your buds" deal is only in operation on April 20, the BRRR-ito itself will still be available for a limited time after that, so hey, at least we've got more than one day to grab it. Everybody wins!
