It sure looks like all those breakup rumors surrounding Emma Roberts and Evan Peters are true, because according to Us Weekly, Emma Roberts is now dating Christopher Hines. Apparently, the two met through their mutual friend, fashion designer Brit Elkin. If you scroll through Elkin's Instagram, both Roberts and Hines make several appearances, but never together — yet. Not much is known about their supposed newfound romance, but per an insider, "Chris is one of the most understanding and laid-back guys. They’ve been dating for a little under a month."
Bustle has reached out to a rep for Roberts, but has not yet heard back.
Based on pictures of the Scream Queens star and Hines, it looks like their so-called relationship is going well. On Thursday, they were spotted in London smiling and holding hands. Whether or not it's super serious between them remains unclear, but it's still too early tell.
So, since Roberts is strolling around holding another guy's hand, does this mean she and Peters really are over for good? For those who've kept tabs on their many makeups and breakups, you know the former American Horror Story co-stars can never seem to make up their minds about whether they want to stay together or apart.
In May, Us Weekly reported that Roberts and Peters split for the second time. At the time of their reported breakup, Bustle reached out to both of their reps, but did not receive an immediate response. However, per Us Weekly, a source claimed "the split was amicable."
As you may recall, Roberts and Peters were also engaged at one point in time. In June 2015, Just Jared reported that they ended their engagement, but, again, they walked away on good terms. According to the source, "Their three years together just ran its course. They have so many great memories together but couldn’t make it work in the end. The break up was amicable — there was no drama whatsoever. Emma and Evan are even still friends!" It was in January that they reportedly reunited and then, as reported in May, they decided to call it quits for the second time.
Yeah, their relationship was a confusing one, but based on Roberts and Hines being all cozy in London, that's definitely cleared up all of the confusion, right? I mean, if the two holding hands isn't proof that Roberts and Peters are done (for at least right now), then I don't know what will convince their shippers.
