tWitch Helped Out The Next Gen On 'SYTYCD'

Does anyone bring more joy to television than Stephen "tWitch" Boss? I don't think so, as he proved when tWitch guest judged on So You Think You Can Dance during the July 18 episode. As Cat Deeley announced, regular judge Jason Derulo was traveling, so the hip-hop dancer stepped in to give some praise and advice to the young Next Generation dancers. tWitch has stayed a part of the So You Think You Can Dance family since he was the runner-up in Season 4 and though Derulo was missed by some fans, tWitch is always a welcome addition to any So You Think You Can Dance episode.

Joining regular judges Nigel Lythgoe and Paula Abdul and Next Gen judge Maddie Ziegler, tWitch gave encouraging words of wisdom to the top 10 Next Generation dancers. As he already worked with young dancers this year for the web series tWitch and Allison’s Dance Challenge with his wife and So You Think You Can Dance alum Allison Holker for the The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he was more than prepared to judge the 8 to 14 years old competing this season on SYTYCD. (He even already worked with competitor Sheaden for the web series.) And tWitch continuously provides a breath of fresh air with his positive energy and helpful insights based on his experience as a successful hip-hop dancer turned star on the SYTYCD stage.

With comments like "You're cooler than a polar bear's toenails, bro" to Sheaden while complimenting Daniela in the next breath on her Cyd Charisse-like legs, tWitch is always a memorable, hilarious, and knowledgeable contributor to So You Think You Can Dance. Here's hoping tWitch's appearance on July 18 won't be his last during this kid-friendly season.
